Who we are

Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to write. We use that only to answer you, and we keep correspondence no longer than we need it. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, one-time codes or account credentials by email.
The newsletter form
The sign-up form on our home page runs entirely in your browser. The address you type is validated locally and echoed back to you on the same page. It is not transmitted to us, not stored on a server, and not passed to any third party. Because of that, entering an address there does not add you to any list and will not produce an email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data when a page is requested — IP address, browser and operating system identifiers, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used for security and for understanding aggregate traffic levels. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember whether you have responded to the cookie notice, so that it does not reappear on every page. That value stays in your own browser. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on this website. You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings; the only effect will be that the notice appears again.
Fonts and external resources
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to servers operated by Google when a page loads. That request necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details under Google's own privacy terms. We pass no other information to that service.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and we will never contact you asking for them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Since the only personal information we ordinarily hold is email correspondence you initiated, most requests are simple to honour. Write to the address above and tell us what you would like us to do.
Children
This website is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
